Abstract. The article is dedicated to the one of the functions of the representative body known as supervision. Propositions over the parliamentarian control are included in federal laws, constitutions (statutes), laws of subjects of Russian Federation and regulations of parliaments: they contain provisions over the supervision function of the local legislative bodies, develop the idea of parliamentarian control and even establish new spheres its enforcement and forms. Basing on the federal law and the legislation of subjects of Russian Federation the author investigates the subject matter and procedures of the parliamentarian supervision of representative bodies of subjects of Russian Federation
